Buy your MOtherboard at microcenter. If you buy the 2500k there, you get $50.00 off selected motherboards.

I bought my 2500k + Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 there. The board came to 109 with the bundle price and will be a much much nicer board than the ASROCK board.

I have been looking at that particular deal, but I didn't know which board to choose. I am looking at the specs and it says that the ASRock board has two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots, and the Gigabyte only has two PCI Express 2.0 x16. Is PCI Express 3.0 relevant or is it like USB 3.0, as in not being fully utilized at this point in time?

Also, I was looking at the Gigabyte Board offered at Microcenter.
They have the GA-Z68XP-UD3 and the GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 within $10 of each other, and I wanted to see the difference between the two. I compared them on Newegg, but couldn't find any significant difference.

I bought mine after reading the toms article comparing Z68 boards for under 160 and that board was the recommended buy. I have had great luck with gigabyte boards in previous builds, and it had all the features I was looking for, so when I could get it in the bundle, I bought it.
