USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming with low-med settings on Battlefield 3 (high if possible?)

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI Radeon HD 5570 and Lite-On PS-5301-08HA 300W PSU

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: HP Pavilion p6670t desktop (CPU is Core-i3-540, 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) DDR3 PC3-10600 memory, MSI MS-7613 motherboard)

PARTS PREFERENCES: Idk the difference so if someone can explain which brand is better, it would help a lot.

OVERCLOCKING: No

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900 but I use 1280x720 for BF3

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Need a better video card than ATI 5570 for BF3 with only 300W PSU...

Hey I doubt you'll be able to get a better card for that price to even see a slight improvement. I'd suggest you save up more money to buy GTS 450 or 550 Ti..

Your 300W PSU is a tier 4 which is not recommend for use and If you upgrade your graphic card then you need a better PSU.

With the i3 CPU you could get a 6750 or a 6850 with a 450w PSU. You also might think about better ram or just faster like a 1600mhz.

edit Don't get a GTX 550Ti it is the worst of the Nvidia 5 series cost to much for what it can give.
