No such interface supported windows 7

After my computer was infected with virus but i got it removed with my anti virus. However after that incident some of my files won't open such as internet explorer, fire fox and some other files. when I try to click on these files it either gave me the message " no such interface supported" or nothing happen at all. please help. I don't know what to do.

Try these first if its a virus that got removed it may have changed your file associations arround. Run these and follow the guides on the websites.
