I have an HTPC ready and raring to go. Originally, I was planning to put a desktop Trinity APU and motherboard into it and be happy. However, now that I've read that the desktop Trinity APUs are going to delayed until October, I may go the Intel route.

I am thinking about putting a Pentium G620 and Radeon HD 6670 in the case instead. The primary use of the system is for HTPC purposes, but I would like to be able to pick up a game if I desire to sometime in the future.

My concern is with the limited space available in the ML03B, is it a good idea to add a discrete GPU?

The case is currently housing an SSD, 2.5" HDD, 3.5" HDD, optical drive, Asus Xonar DS sound card, and four 80mm fans.

My idea was to keep heat down and not reduce airflow in the case by using the integrated graphics on the APU. I would probably go with Llano, but I hate the idea of purchasing a dead socket. I don't have any plans of picking up Diablo III anytime soon, but I do enjoy dusting off my Everquest or WOW accounts every now and then.

So, given the current setup and as far as getting the best/safest bang for your buck, which would you suggest?

Wait for Trinity, go with the Intel/GPU, or get Llano?
