So I just finished installing the hyper 212 plus into my new rig after removing the stock intel cooler. The first thing I notice is that there is a noticeable noise but I am not sure if it is normal. It doesnt just sound like a fan spinning it sounds like something else is going on but I cannot be sure. If anyone can offer up some input I would be very thankful. I did take the fan off the heatsink and it is quieter when I do that but again I have no idea if that is normal. Thanks in advance.

what kind of noise? clicking, what? It could just be a wire in a fan.

Sorry should have clarified it. It was this clicking. Noise but I replaced the stock fan with a stock fan from my haf 912 and all is well.

Fan might be hitting a loose wire. Or the fan bearing is bad and might be time to replace it.

Yeah not sure what it is. Just got it so it shouldn't be time to replace it but it's fixed for now so we will see what happens in the future.
