I really cannot decide which card to get. I'm trying to choose between either a 560ti or a hd6950. I'm aware of the presence of the 570 and the 6970, but i don’t want to spend that much money on a videocard.
As far as the 560ti goes, I managed to narrow the choices down to either the MSI 560ti hawk or the 560ti twin frozr. If they overclock to the same performance level its definitely going to be the twin frozr, cause it'll cost me €40 less. But is this true? Or does the ti hawk have more overclocking potential?
Then there's the 6950. In some benchmarks it outperforms the 560ti, but in others, it doesn't. And should I take the 1gb version or the 2gb version? And which brand, and would it perform better than a overclocked 560ti. What if i overclock it?
And what about 1gb or 2gb of VRM. I find that most people prefer the 2gb over a 1gb model, but I also read that a 2gb 6950 will run out of processing power long before using the 2gb available. So does it REALLY have an advantage over 1gb models?
I am aiming to game at 1920x1080.
My system specs:
intel 2500k
gigabyte z68xp-ud3p
650W psu
Thanks
