I'm looking to build a new gaming desktop, but have no idea where to start. I've been ripped off with buying a pre-built desktop too many times before, so that's out of the question. I've looked for a few days for a build for under $700 but every one I find is outdated. If someone could post up everything I need that would be fantastic. I have a case, no need for the extras like keyboard, mouse, monitor. I do have a 32" 1080p TV that I use for a monitor if that has anything do do with the build. Much thanks in advance.
Approximate Purchase Date: within the next few weeks.
Budget Range: $700 after rebates and stuff.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, videoediting/3d rendering
Parts Not Required: Keyboard (thought I do only have a $10 one), mouse, monitor, case. Shouldn't need an OS.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Any website as I'll probably be buying the parts individually from different websites or local stores.
Country: US
Parts Preferences: Not picky.
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: maybe
Monitor Resolution: 1920*1080
Additional Comments: harddrive is oging to have to be at least 1TB. I'm constantly deleting/uninstalling form my 250g to make more room.
