Need help with building computer

I'm pretty new to computer and was wondering if this build would work and if not could i get some suggestions on parts to change

Windows 7 64 bit?

Cpu: If you are gaming get the i5-2500k if you want to over click or the i5-2400 if no OC

ya i am gonna get the windows 64 bit but how come not the intel i7 2600k for gaming? isnt it better
