I am building my first computer. I need help finding a case that conforms to M/B Asus P8Z77-V LK which will be sturdy, quiet AND has minimum (6) USB 2.0 and (2) USB 3.0. Latter needs to be in front. Cooler MAster 932 Advance fits the bill but is a monster. Would appreciate any help.

A monster in terms of size and it isn't exactly quiet either. I recently transferred my P8Z77-V from a 932 Advanced into a Carbide 500R and am much happier with the Carbide - it's a bit quieter as well.

Two things which bug me about the 932... the front USB ports are upside down and compare the CPU cutouts to 500R:

Carbide 500R:

Above are same setup, ie P8Z77-V + 3770 w/ Hyper EVO cooler.

The only downside is the 500R doesn't come with a case speaker, which I purchased separately. The only thing the 932 has going for it is the extra front 2x USB panel... but that could easily be added to the Carbide as well, if need be.

Thank you so much for your detiled response. I'm embarrased o ask what the take home message is from the images: the more centrally location of the CPU ? Also, how would I add extra USB 2.0's to the case ?

Ok but I'm a bit confused; Specs on CArbide 500R show 2 USB 3.0. Yours have 4 ??
Also re your great images: appreciate them but is your point, that the M/B sits more centrally in the Carbide 500R than in the CM 932 ?
