Gaming HTPC build for living room. Need Advice on build

Hello everyone! I need some advice on a build I am going to attempt. This will be my first PC build ever so I want to make sure I at least start with the right parts. I would appreciate any feedback and advice you may have to offer. Thanks!

Approximate Purchase Date: with in 1 week

Budget Range: $1000 +/- $150 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: HTPC to be used for watching movies, streaming web content and playing games on the TV (32" 720p). Games to be played are WoW, ME 3, Kingdoms of Amalur. Mainly RPGs will be played

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU. other parts are open

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 (720 p TV)

Additional Comments: Windows based. Also would like to be as quite as possible since it will be in the living room

The i3 2100 is probably plenty for the games, but if you are going to be streaming you should probably go for a quadcore like the i5 2400, since streaming at a decend quality can take quite a toll on the CPU.

Oh wait a minute, I read that wrong, thought you would be streaming said gaming to the web. Yeah the 2100 is a good budget choice :)
