Restricting Application Use

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize (More info?)

Is there a way to restrict use to a given application (e.g. software game)
without having to resort to setting up different login profiles.

The idea is that a person would go to execute an application, but would be
required to enter a password to allow that to happen.

Thank you for any suggestions.
