Having issues with my first build...
worked fine for acouple days, now its starting to give me some issues.

just recently i started receiving a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen...
i was getting these blue screens frequently, 3-4 times a day.
i updated my BIOS and it has not happened since i installed it, ( yesterday )

the second blue screen i have recieved is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
yet i only received this error once or twice and has not happened in 3 days.

my final issue is while playing world of warcraft,
which is the only game i have installed on this computer dont know if that matters...
it began to play the game buttery smooth, but now its starting to have what looks like
FPS spikes, it will look as if the game is paused for about a split second then return to being smooth
to follow that problem, now the water in the game is starting to look different, somewhat blotchy
ive uploaded a picture to show you guys what i mean about the water.

anyone out there with any type of advice/help for either of these 3 issues please let your voice be heard
i need all the help i can get, im beggining to think that i have a defective video card....

please and thanks to all who took time to read this thread

heres my setup just incase anyone needs to know to diag the problem:

windows 7 64bit
hanspree full HD monitor, ( 1080P )
ASrock 970 EXTREME 3
AMD 960T
gigabyte nvidia gtx560 Ti
Patriot gamer series memory ( 16 gigs )
hitachi 500gb HDD
seasonic 520W

ive uploaded a picture of the water so you guys can see what im talking about, as you will notice, none of the surrounding waters looks as the one circled in red does...

( once i approach the water it begins to look normal, but form a distance you see how it looks )

Hi Mike, Do you get the BSOD errors while only playing WoW? You should download coretemps and msi afterburner and monitor the temperatures of your pc. Usually the spikes of frames is caused by the gpu however it could also be because your cpu is overheating and thats what causes most BSODs in these cases. If your unable to get passed the load screen you can usually find core temps in your bios setup. Make sure the temperature of the cpu is not going over 70C especially while idling.

Coretemp dl link- http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
MSI Afterburner dl link- http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

Reply back on what your temps are for me, thanks.

yeah thats when they happened most frequently, the bsod have stopped after i updated my BIOS, heres my scores,
Idling temp for CPU : 32-34C
Temp during WoW for CPU : 38-41C
( GPU fan speed 40% )
GPU temp idling : 31C
GPU during WoW : 52C

The bsod screens seemed to have stopped, my main concern is why things are beggining to appear the way they do in the game,

Nice so your temps are normal. Since there is something wrong with your graphics while playing WoW it could just be a data corruption within the game or your graphics card. First you should update your graphics card driver looks like you have the old driver back in January. A new version actually just came out today heres the link- http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-295.73...

See if that fixes the graphic problem your having. In WoW do you have vsync enabled? Your graphics card is a beast so I dont think it would be on because you'd get tops of only 30fps with a 60hertz refresh rate monitor and thats why I hate vsync but it does fix frame spikes and tearing. If your monitor has a high refresh rate more than 60hrtz I would enable it to see if that fixes the problem. If that does not fix it try playing a different game to see if the problem occurs within that game. If it only occurs within WoW i know the game has a repair tool within the directory you might want to run to see if theres a data corruption. The recovery does delete your addons tho so you should move your addons to a different location when you run the tool.

You should also try this, download asrock's tuning utility (love asrock mobos), heres the link- http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=970%20Extre... Check your voltages see if they are normal (make sure your dram voltage is 1.65v) I also have a seasonic psu they are boss so i doubt it would be a voltage problem but always good to make sure. You should also download the asrock xfast ram utility which should optmize your patriot ram. Also what is your gpu's core clock, memory clock, and core voltage at under msi afterburner?

Let me know if any of this works, good luck man.
