Approximate Purchase Date: Within the month
Budget Range: 1600-1800 usd

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming,multi-track recording software.

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, os win 7 home premium 64bit

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Frys electronics,Reason being i will be able to go to the store on a trip soon,i live in a rural area so eggs/tiger amazon ect are not mailed close to me and takes weeks for overnight due to my location and sometimes dosn't show,I live in a conflicting zip code area so fedx/ups no go and p.o.box probs

Country:USA

Parts Preferences: Asus gen3, intel i7(i know i5 is more then needed, I curently have an i7 in wifes comp, love it so sticking with it) Most ram i can fit for the buck,DVD drive,no bluray needed.Vid card i have no clue,so many im lost.I wanna play swtor/bfbc and d3 maxed.SSD for hardrive.Case i dont care about lights ect ,something that will acomidate parts.Last cooling is must.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe ,not sure if i need it

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080, 1920x1200) Use HdTv for the most part so hdmi port is important on vid card

Additional Comments:This is a mainly gaming rig.I play more than average so good cooling is a must. Never built a comp other than replacing vid cards/power suply in prefabs. Most of my knowledge is from reading through these forums and google for months. side note i know the i5 vs i7 debate,Im getting i7 case closed :p .I also feel my 1600-1800usd will go over so i can go a few hundred over if really necessary but prefer not to.

you could drop the total price down 100 if u got an i5 2500k instead of the i7 and another 40 if u get the silverstone st85f-g instead of the corsair psu
