Installing a aftermarket heat sink

Hello, I just orderd the Coolermaster hyper 1212 plus, because the stock cooler sucks. Do I reapply thermal paste to my CPU again or just leave the thermalpaste thats already on there.

Yes, you need to completely clean the CPU and reapply.

Ok thank you, and how what do I use just a hand towel ?, also do I have to remove the CPU or can I just do it while its on the motherboard ?

You're supposed to use at least 70% Isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth, but a damp paper towel will do. Just make sure you watch out for lint.
