hi and welcome to the boards. if this is an old pre built dell or hp that you picked up most of the drivers you need will be under the model number of the pc you picked up. if it an old system someone gave you then you have to open the case and read the model number of the cards and mother boards. what you need for drivers is the mother board chipset drivers...the video card drivers...if the mb has built in sound and network chipset you have to download those from the mb vendor web page. if it an after market like a creative labs you have to go to cl web page and download the drivers there. if there an os on the system now you can use cpu-z to read the info. there also pathmark software that read the system info and give it to you in easy english on what inside the case.
