Hello,
I have a hp pavilion dv6 laptop and its graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 and i think it is ok for play games, but when i adjust video setting high in games, it is slow.
Please help.

That's an entry level card in a < $600 laptop. It's not expected to be able to play games at high settings.

I bought the laptop 1000$ and graphic card is 1 gb. my previous computer was 256 mb and run games better than it.

Memory isn't the main factor deciding how fast the graphic's card will work. Most of the times, the increased video memory is added to laptops for advertisement reasons, so people think it's a good video card and buy it. Check this chart, it will give you an idea about how fast different graphics cards are:

Agree with Jack. Regardless of how much you paid for it, it's still a 12th tier card (soon to be 13th or 14th tier) and will struggle with the more demanding games out there.
