Hi, I have a Dell XPS/Dimension 420 my video card blew so I need to know what ytpe I can replace it with. It was a Gforce 8800FT PCI 2.0 I THINK???. Can I use a PCI 2 2.0 x 16?
Processor, Q9450, 2.66, 12MB
375W, EXTREME PERFORMANCE

Looking for a card for 100.00~175.00..
Any suggestions?

It's very difficult to find a decent video card that requires that little power. If you can stretch your budget by about $40-50 you can buy a decent 500-550watt power supply.

As far as your card I'd recommend the HD 6870 or the GTX 560.
 
I would go with the Radeon 5770 or 6770, as they are the same, just rebadged. It would go nice with that power supply.

On the other hand, if you did want to get a better power supply, like a good 500W-600W, you could get a Radeon 6870 or GTX560, which are some of the best cards on the market today. Either paired with your system will prolong the life of your system another few years especially with that Core2Quad.
