New GPU (6870) Blue Lines

Some times when I am watching youtube video's or listening to music out of no where I get blue vertical lines that go across my screen is my GPU bad should I RMA it?

have the same problem, same card.

Windows 7 Ultimate
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990F
33 C Currently, idle.


I think it's the drivers, maybe disable/uninstall the display adapter, reboot, re-install updated drivers. I don't know, any tips?

I get em when I'm playing SWTOR and go on youtube, and bang! blue screen with vertical lines.

Yea I've decided im just going to RMA the video card and go with nvidia this is the first time I've ever gone with ATI and it was a bad choice.

Don't knock off AMD entirely based on this one bit of anecdotal evidence. Both companies have DOA/buggy cards; I wouldn't say one has any more than the other.

Yep, roughly equivalent. They trade benchmarks, depending on the game.
