Will i5 2500k be a bottleneck for gtx 680.

and if yes than which processor should i use?my budget for the processor is 250 dollars. idk if this helps but i wanna play games like bf3 and batman arkham city resolution 1920.1080

No, an i5 2500k won't bottleneck that system. While the GTX 680 is quite powerful, the i5 2500K is as well. It offers all the real-world performance of the highest end processors, without the markup and special use case features. (HTT, 6 Cores, etc.) Sure, there might be situations where it will be a bottleneck, but those would be in low-detail situations or settings where the 680 is pushing out more than 100+ FPS. Really, for gaming, the 2500K offers excellent price/performance.

If thats the case for that budget go with the 2500k or the Ivy equivilant 3570k. You should be fine seeing to how these are the best gaming CPUs out there. If your using a single monitor I would suggest a 670 before a 680. The 670 gives a better performance per dollar and will still meet your needs easy. If you then want to put the extra 100 bucks into a SSD that would be the best choice for you IMO.
