Building this rig for a friend who just got his financial aid. We have a leftover budget of $400 after ordering the 7750.

Basically we just do not want to waste any money on a CPU that is going to be more power than the HD7750 can handle so to speak.

Want to play BF3 as good as possible and would like to overclock on air if that is going to keep costs down.

Please let me know what you guys suggest and everything has to be bought through amazon. PLEASE INCLUDE AMAZON LINKS.

Thanks!

Yeah I dunno about a 7750 but if you already ordered it I guess you'll learn to live with it. I have a more powerful card running on a Pentium G850 which ran me 80$ You can get a fairly feature rich motherboard from the open box or refurbished section on Newegg. RAM is dirt cheap, especially considering you can safely go with the cheapest one knowing it has a 1% or less impact on system performance. If you went for a 50$ case, and a cheap CDRW drive you could easily add in an SSD like a Patriot Pyro to speed up the system even more and still be under 400$ If he needs a monitor you wont be able to afford an SSD unless you ebay a small one(32 GB)

This system runs Starcraft 2 30-90 FPS all setting maxed out at 1050X1680, and Skyrim 30-60 FPS all settings maxed out at the same resolution.
