Yes , the card is backward compatible ,I would also suggest a bios update on the motherboard

check both of the PCI slot...must be compatible.
Like your card need "PCI Express 2.0 x16"
check if mobo has that slot.

It has a Pci-e X16 slot so its fine

The card will be backward compatible and will run at 1.0 instead of 2.0

check the biostar website for your motherboard , download the bios updater or file and follow the instructions exactly to how they are specified. Its not necessary unless you are having any problems , if not , leave it alone.
