Can I upgrade my processor to this?

I have been googling like no one's business. Maybe I just don't know what to google, but I haven't gotten very informative results. So here's my question.
I have
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (windsor), AM2 socket, 90nm - processor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103747
Asus NODUSM3 - motherboard
nVidia nForce 410 - chipset
Can I upgrade to some type of Phenom II? (something on this list link http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=Property&Subcategory=343&Description=&Type=&N=100007671+50001028&IsNodeId=1&IsPowerSearch=1&srchInDesc=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&PropertyCodeValue=507%3A46347&PropertyCodeValue=507%3A57138&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-AMDCPU-_-NA-_-NA).

I have read multiple time that AM3 processors will work in AM2 sockets, but I couldn't find out if the whole 45nm and 90nm difference matters.

More about upgrade processor this
  1. If it was AM2+, possibly, (although still unlikely), but definitely not just AM2.
  2. Look at the Processor Upgrade Information here http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00757531&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en#N92

The best you can do is a Athlon 64 X2 5000+
  3. so these guys have no idea what they're talking about? (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/267772-28-will-processor-slower-socket
  4. It might be possible with some (although I personally haven't seen it), but I can almost guarantee not with yours. It's an OEM board and not a great one at that.
  5. I love computers and everything to do with them; however, sometimes I really hate them lol. A giant poop in a barrel. Thank you though.
  6. Yeah, compatibility issues suck, lol.
