Hi, I am currently running ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870x2 in XFX. Recently in most games I have noticed that only one gpu is actually being used. After some research I have found that this is a common issue due to the lack of support for 4XXX cards. I was wondering if anyone that is currently using them has found an older driver/catalyst that would allow for both gpus to work. I am currently using the Catalyst 11.2.

I apologize if this has already have been asked, I tried to research as much I could but so far no luck. Please let me know if you need more information

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forums
Yes,unfortunately AMD cut the support for 4870X2's second core from Cat 10.5(I don't know if there is a specific new driver or a hack for it in order to make the second GPU work)so the best thing you can do is rolling back to an older driver.

However, download and install Radeon Pro and you maybe able to find an option to enable the second GPU with new drivers
