RAM: DDR3 1600Mhz 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance Blue LP Edition
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB IntelliPower, 64MB, SATA II WD10EARS
GPU: GIGABYTE - nVidia GTX580 SO 1536MB GDDR5 DX11 2xDVI Mini HDMI PCI-E
Blu-Ray: LG UH12LS28 DVD±RW Blu-Ray Combo Black Sata
Case: Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Full Tower Series Black Case (No PSU)
GPU External Cooling: Arctic Accelero TWIN TURBO PRO Dual Fans VGA Cooler

Power Supply: Antec High Current Gamer 750W Active PFC 13.5cm PSU HCG-750

Get a Noctua NH-D14 instead of the H60
Get a Asus P8P68 Gen 3 board instead of the Gene Z
Get a 7200RPM hard drive
Add a SSD if you have cash to spare

I never got the point of SSds, I mean, what do they even do?
And I will be getting a ATi 7970 and a 7200RPM HDD(WD Caviar Black something-something). The store I'm buying the system from only has Corsair LCS's so my options are either the H60 or the H40(Due to budget).

SSD's speed up the OS dramatically and increase the speed of game loads. I would never go back to a mechanical drive. Damn Israel is expensive, I though Canada was bad. :kaola:

Getting the i5-2500K and HD 7970 combo would be a good move.
So is the WD Black HDD.

Corsair Hydro H60 is not a terrible CPU cooler. But there are some air coolers that perform better at the same price. What other coolers are available in your shop?

another +1 especially with:
the 2600k down to the 2500K
the cheap water down to air
the 7200rpm HDD
and the SSD.

I've no opinion on the ati card or the mobo. yes the ati card is quicker, if you can wait till april you might find everything has changed, the 7970 is a great card, but overpriced in my opinion, because of the lack of competition.

Cheap water cooling is no better than the same priced air, is not quieter, and has more to go wrong, and leads to more stagnant case air which might cause problems of its own.

And the 2600K offers no advantages (and some reported disadvantages) over the 2500K in gaming.

What resolution is the 21.5" monitor, if it is just 1680x1050 then the 580 and the 7970 are probably overkill, probably.
