ok so i have a couple hundred to spend on my computer. my current cpu is the phenom x4 9950. my case is the raidmax smilodon. i love both of them. i love the case because of the color and the look of it but the cable management is complete balls. does anyone suggest upgrading my cpu first and keeping my case?

i suggest you invest your money in a new cpu or videocard or ram's etc...you didn't specify nothing like what else have you got or what you mean by "couple hundred" ...100....200...better give us the budget and what else you got on your computer.... and always try and upgrade components not the things that just make it look good ...unless you plan on serios overclocking in which case you need a good airflow in your case....even then that case is quite good ... and what are you going to use the pc for?

For $200 you can upgrade the case and CPU. The FX4170 sells for $140 on Newegg and runs at 4.2 G stock and newegg always have very good case for $50 to $60 all with free shipping. I got a Cooler Master 690 II foe $50 shipped two weeks ago. The FX8120 can be had for $150 to $160 also.
