  1. OK. What type of Liquid Cooling?....all in one, like the corsair liquid coolers....or are you building a Loop from scratch, because that can easily take up about $300 from your Budget. And also what do you mean by video?...watching movies? or actual professional editing?
  2. Do you need absolutely everything... i.e. speakers, monitor, mouse, and keyboard as well?

edit: nevermind, I read more thoroughly this time. Lets see what we can pull of buddy.
  3. This will get you started.

  5. and since its your first time building i would strongly recomend the h100 if it can fit in the case you want becuse first time builders should never start out with a custom water cooled loop it just sounds like a disater to me but yah h100 is a good all in one wc just replace the fans with something like a cougar
  6. Guy's you are forgetting the Monitors, keyboards, mice speakers etc....he specified N/A as parts not needed, therefore he needs everything ....

Also, if you want High end...are thinking of CF or SLI, and Multiple monitors, he is going to really want to get a 7950. I'm trying to get u everything u need right now bro...it's hard though, your gonna have to give more details as to what you want....

You should go with just 8gb RAM
Also Those PSU's are too weak, he is thinking about CF or SLI as an option...

and he specifically said High end GPU.....6950 is not High end anymore, it's a tier below.

I posted a 750w psu. If a 750w psu won't easily push two of those cards then every review along with the specs on the AMD site is totally wrong.
  8. 750 is good...I was referring more the the person who said the 520 seasonic. 750w, is plenty...although if he is going to overclock to garantee stability, I recommend going at least 800w.
  9. Go with a newer Case, like the Carbide 500R mentioned...It'll let you fit the H100 perfectly and also has USB 3.0 ports.

    Core i5-2500K
    AMD 7950
    8GB RAM
    850 watt PSU ( there are plenty good brands ) ( since you're thinking of O/C and CF/SLI )
    128 Crucial M4 SSD
    Corsair H100
    Corsair Carbide 500r

Those are my reccomendations. High End and Future Proof.
  10. What type of monitor do you want?
  11. Best answer
guys he mentioned 12+ ram and work with video then he is video editing.then this is perfect build

    intel i7 2600k
    corsair h100

    4x4 gb corsair vengence
asus sabertooth or ASUS P8Z68 pro
    Crucial M4 128gb
    500gb carvier blue
    seasonic 850w 80+gold
    xfx 7950 black edition
    corsair carbide 600t
    ASUS VS248H-P Black 24" HDMI
    LED Backlight Widescreen LCD
    Monitor
    ASUS DVD-Writer Black SATA

and buy keyboard and mice and speakers which u like with that money left with u:)
  12. Thank you all!

For clarification by water cooling I do mean the Corsair series like the H100.
Editing like video rendering and recording.
    I assume that I will need a 800+ PSU?
I may not need a Windows disk.
Gaming is my first priority, though.
Should I wait for Ivy Bridge?
