Now, I've decided to upgrade, and was wondering if this new stuff would run on my new powersupply;

Phenom 955 (4.0GHz)

8GB RAM

2 7200RPM Drives

2 SSD's (60/90GB)

HD 7850 2GB

8 Fans (3 are from previous build, and I am buying 5 more, which the 5 will be on a Fan Controller)

NZXT Mesh Fan Controller

H60 CPU cooler

All on a OCZ 700w powersupply

I tried a few PSU calculators, but they gave me really off results (380, 427, 965...) and was wondering if someone here could possibly give me insight...

I'm curious about something also, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It says 5 '30w' channels, so does it take up 150w, or is that just the max it can take up?

It will run.

The fan controller means it can output 30W on 5 different channels!

Okay thanks, yeah the fan controller had me a little confused... Would you happen to have an estimate on how much this would take up, out of the 700w on normal gaming use?

A system with a single HD7850 requires a 500W PSU with at least 28A on the 12V rails and one 75W 6-pin PCIe power connector.

In all actuality a good quality 400-450W PSU is enough for a single-GPU 7850 system. The system isn't likely to use more than 260W or so at full load. A system with a highly OCed i7 965 and a HD7850 used 256W in this review: http://www.guru3d.com/article/amd-radeon-hd-7850-and-78...
