Do any of you guys know which one i need? apparently the guy i bought it from had a whole bag of adapters and will let me choose the right one. maybe pictures and/or links will be helpful!! i am attempting to dual monitor. one DVI and the older monitor using the adapter. it worked before just need a different adapter. DVI to VGA is pretty simple and cheap, but you do need to have the right DVI connection for your cable, DVI-D or DVI-I, single and dual-link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface Score 0 blindwhatif December 23, 2011 3:47:04 PM Based off the Wiki you provided, i have the the DVI-D dual link and this doesn't seem to be detected when i attach the older monitor to the computer. would i need to get the DVI-D single link? based off this video at 1:44 to 1:46 the Adapter that came in the box looked like a DVI-D single link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdYrGSjSj0o does this really matter? or does it not? and thank you for your reply!
