Thank you for the link, unfortunately these are black editions (Factory OC) Will that matter, will one underclock itself?

I'm hoping to eventually add a second 6870 down the road. For the OP's benefit and mine, what would be an adequate PSU to power his two cards? Is there a resource for determining that?

In a traditional Crossfire setup, if they were both 6870's. The cards would clock to the speed of the slower card. At least that is my understanding. With Crossfire X and them being different I am not sure. I think they will run at their current speed.

As far as power supply, an AX850 is PLENTY. I was thinking more along the lines of a GOOD 600-650W power supply... 700W if you are overclocking the CPU.

@jay2tall I just did a calculator and even added a watercooling pump to the mix, plus 3SSD's 2HDD's and 3 big fans and it said 735 watts IF everything is at 100% (oh and 8 ram sticks). Plus the AX850 peaks at 1000watts So yes I think it is enough thank you :).

The chart says that 6850 and 6870 is a recommended Xfire setup. I think both of the cards are identical just flashed differently.
