Hi, I have plugged my headphones into the rear of my tower and installed all the lastest software. I have ran tests using realtek device manager and win 7. the results are that I can hear the left output in the left and right ear but nothing when the right output is testing.

I have done the usual of uninstall and reinstall to no resolve. I have also tried to use the ATI HDMI audio to be met with the same results. SOMEONE HELP!!

My System:

Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
AMD PhenomII x4 965 (3400 Mhz)
4 GB RAM (one stick - G-Skill DDR3)
AMD Radeon HD 6700 series
Win 7 64bit

Well other than:
A. the plug is not pushed in fully or
B. you accidently moved the balance slider in the driver/windows.
I am fresh out of ideas.

sounds like either your Headphone cord isn't 100% (maybe lose connection?)
1) Try Headphones with another device (Ipod, Phone)
2) Put headphones in the tower and push them in fully
3) Try messing around with the balance in the mixer
4) Finally! if its a sound card your using update drivers or see if any cords are loose/not plugged in (Inside tower)

Probably sounds obvious but can never be too careful, have you plugged the headphones into the right socket, not into the line out or something?

Concur with the above to check the mixer.

Are you using headphones from something like a phone that has built in controls, microphone etc, this is known to cause problems when not used with the device it was intended.
