HEEEYY guys!
i currently have an EVGA gtx 460. pretty sure it is ref.design.i Im running it at 720/1800. Runs all my games (BF3, WoW, etc) great. however, i am considering OC'in it further. around 840/2000. But i think i need a new VGA cooler. I looked at the ARCTIC COOLING Accelero TWIN TURBO. WILL THAT FIT? any suggestions and how i can do this replacement?

Actually EVGA officially gave a free "update" to all their GTX460s upping the core clock to 720-1440-1800. All their reference models after the update were 720 core. The factory overclocked model was 763-1526-2000. That is the version I have. There is also a factory superclocked model.

I took my reference cooler off and replaced the stock thermal paste with IC Diamond and that lowered my temps 4-7C over stock. I run my card at 820-1640-2000 full time. Overclocking the memory does not seem to help much in benchmarks.

You can easily overclock with EVGA Precision and the EVGA OC Scanner is a great stability and temp tester. In fact I get higher test temps from the OC Scanner than from Furmark. You will never get those temps in everyday...

I love EVGA. On my 4th card in a row from them.

oh okay. thanks, man. How much better FPS were you able tp reach at those clocks? because i get around 40-50FPS in BF3 with it and my i3-2100. Can you hypothesize my FPS gain?

I reused this card from my old E8400 overclocked to 4Ghz system. Honestly I overclocked the card from day 1 so I can't really compare it to a stock card. I would think it would go up at least 5-10FPS. I don't play Battlefield 3 so I can't help with a comparison there.
