Computer shutting down..Infrared Reciever?

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right spot.

I am getting a blue screen and my computer randomly shuts down. I thought it might be hardware-related and when I went to device manager, I found this:

I tried to update the drivers and it says the best software is already installed.

I doubt whether no driver installed will cause random shutdown.

The PC seems quite old. Power supply could be starting to fail... Or if you have not cleaned the processor cooler & it has become clogged up, then your processor might be over heating & shutting down as self protection.
