The Phenom is a nice budget choice for rendering. The Mobo is very nice. Just remember to check how many SATA cables your Mobo comes with. You will need 2. One of them should be SATA III to take advantage of your HDD. That's a very nice case, I wish my 912 had a window and a sexy blue LED.
