if he is gona overclock then u got to buy a good aftermarket cooler
if not then i5 2500k is useless change that with i5 2400

and bump that graphic card to 6950 and unlock it to 6970(greatest bang for buck)

and if u want to lower build cost then change ram to xms3 and save few bucks(not necessary)

and u did not mentioned case
cm haf 912 would be prefered

if u can then buy at least 60gb of ram eg kingston for os
by this ur friend would be utterly be happy and is bang for buck :) x)

Oh ya i5 2500 not 2500k hes is not into OCing trying to lower my standards so hard to do sometimes. He just wants a solid rig that will give him a little room to expand on if he so wishes later. He is a big WOW player and wants to get into SWTOR does not play games like BF3 so it doesn't have to be a monster machine like mine. (I7 950 OCed to 4.2, Noctua NH-D14 cooler, Asus X58 Sabertooth MOBO, 12 GB 1600 MHrz kingston DDR 3 RAM, 2 WD 640GB 7200RPM HDD Raid 0, Samsung 2TB HDD Storage drive, 2 Nvidia GTX 580 1.5GB Gfx cards, 1000W SilentPro Gold PSU.) He is coming over this weekend to check out his build options and select a case not some thing I can pick for someone just to many and everyone likes their own thing.
