why only one CPU at full load when playing BF2 ?

I don't believe BF2 is multi-threaded which is why you only see mass utilization on one core - nothing you can do about it....

Yes. The only thing you could do is set the affinity of the game to use one core so no other programs even try to edge in on it and use the other core instead.

Best you could probably do is alt tab while in BF2, get into task manager, and set BF2 to run on your second core so it has a whole core to itself and all windows and other backround prog's have the first core.

Why is one core at full load?? 8O

Mine gets to about 60% on one core, and 40% on the other, and its only slightly higher clocked than yours.

Thats according to my g15, it has 2 bars, what is telling you its at full load?
