I was visiting a new Computer Store in town today to help a friend who is somewhat computer illiterate. The owner fo the store was telling me that AGP was a dead issue due to the creation of "Enhanced PCI". So my question is this, IF Enhanced PCI exists (i have seen and heard nothing about it) where can i get info on it and its "relationship" with AGP, and is it in fact better than AGP, providing it exists.

Enhanced PCI is probably the one which is going to die. AGP has direct memory access I think, while PCI architecture does not permit. I think AMD and Intel are both developing means of replacing PCI. And they are WAY faster.

This site is cool.
