What are the different type of wi-fi security setups?

Hey guys. So I'd like to be educated on the different Wi-Fi encryption methods such as WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK and so forth, I think one of those is wrong

Anywho, what different kinds of encryption methods and such are there? What are the advantages of them, what should one know about each one, are there more than the ones I listed? Which diff kinds are used for what situations or circumstances etc, whatever I should know about these different methods

Reaper, I personally put WEP on systems for other people ... it's easy and works well.

I use WP2 with a local Linux (IPCOP / SMOOTHWALL) box as a gatway for more secure results.

I get my clever Linux buddy to do the box though as I am but a simple windows man ... lol.

WPA-PSK is the way to go. 128bit AES is damn near impossible to break without someone with access to LOT of computing power, like a company or the government.

Thank you all for replying, this is NOT a homework question, I wrote them real fast and I know they sound all scattered, I was in a rush so I apologize for that. Will be reading up on the links provided.
