It is hard to tell, but you put yourself at a lot of risk that it won't work.

The FX processors don't always work with FX boards unless the boards have a BIOS update which you can't do if you only have the FX processor. You would have to have a second suckier AMD processor to update the BIOS with, which would be a drag.

Also, the FX 81xx processors are just plain worse almost all the time than a 2500k is.

I would suggest instead
2500k processor
$125 Gigabyte Z68 motherboard
XFX 650w PSU
HD 6950 video card
HAF 912 case
Asus 24x DVD

the other stuff you can keep.
