My dell laptop starts sometimes with blank screen

hey, i also found the same problem in my dell laptop studio. i installed, my laptop came with window vista , then i installed win 7 ultimate OS, after that i reinstalled win 7 pro OS. and now i am facing the same problem. i.e blank screen on start up sometimes. can any one please tell me that how should i reinstall the my first operating i.e window vista and when i bought laptop i got it without the cd of windows

Check your power settings.

And check your BIOS for any power saving feature ....
