Problems due to ethernet card in pc

My desk top pc-ACER- HAS AN INTERNET CONNECTION.The problem it faces is
1.The internet works well but suddenly the net is disconnected. The message is
local area connection.A network cable is unplugged .What could be the problem ?

Hi Dhanpal, It's most likely not a hardware problem, but your ISP. Who are you with? BSNL/MTNL? If that is so, then that'll explain it

Could be a modem/Router problem as well. You can also try to download the latest driver for your mobo ethernet card from the manufacturer's website, if available

BTW, I do hope you Google what a server is. This certainly isn't a 'server' problem :lol:
