BIOS password recovery

How can I determine the BIOS password on a 15 yr. old laptop?

You can't. You can clear the bios. There should be a cmos battery on the system board. Remove it and short the cmos clear jumper somewhere near by the battery. Only problem is that being a laptop you may need to take it apart.
