Gts 450 supported motherboard

hello guys,
i've recently upgraded my pc with nvidia gts 450 2gb the problem is when i switched on the pc a beep sound comes but nothing displayed.i checked my previous card that runs fine on same pc.my pc contains power supply of 450 w...plz help me guys....

If you have onboard video is it disabled?

i got my problem solved.6 pin cable was nt properly attatched.
