Which PSU?

hello, i'm seeking advice on which psu to purchase for my build. i've narrowed my search down to these four:

Silverstone Strider Plus 600W
Seasonic M12II 520W
Corsair TX550M
Antec High Current Gamer 520W

they are all about the same price, so i'm just wondering which would be the best choice?

More about which
  1. I would go for the model with the highest 12v rail rating in amps or the longest warranty. All are pretty good.
  2. all will do the job just fine so you won't be making a wrong decision

silverstone comes with 4 PCI-E power cables. nice if you need them, more cables to hide if you don't

the antec uses the same platform as the seasonic although the antec fan is larger and seasonic uses different japanese caps if i recall. basically the same PSU

the corsair is modular if that is important to you and comes with the largest fan of the four.
  3. okay, thanks for the advice!
  4. my current case is a bit tight for cable management, so modular would be great. thanks for the help :)

its a good PSU, i have the 650w version of it but then you selected four good PSU.
  6. All of them are good quality units. I have the Seasonic M12II-520 and love it; 5yr warranty, quiet, rock solid rails, great voltage regulation, and low ripple.

The Antec HCG is made by Seasonic and is based on the M12II-520 design; 3 year warranty.

The 550TXM is made by CWT and has the beefiest 12V rails at 45A; it's one of the PSUs that put Corsair on the PSU map as a quality PSU seller. It has a 5yr warranty.

The Strider 60)W has 42A on the 12V rail and is made by Enhance Electronics; 3yr warranty.

Based on the above, I would go for either the Tx550M or the M12II-520. The TX550M is the most powerful and if it is the same price as the M12Ii, then that is the route that I would go.

thanks for the info! the M12II and TX550M are the same price where i am, so i think i'll go with the corsair
