Hello,
i have a socket 775 and i'm trying to upgrade from a p4 2.8ghx to a celeron d 3.33ghz socket 775. I did upgrade the bio's to the latest verison, turned off the system and put the better cpu in and board didn't start up. IS there anything else i can check to make sure it isn't the celeron d?

Assuming that your motherboard support the celeron & you upgrade to the proper bios, the next thing to do is to check all the cable is returned to its proper connection.

To avoid any doubt on the processor support, please post the link where you derived the cpu support information & downloaded the BIOS.
