LCD screen on back of digicam? Best way is to take a piece of ordinary
Scotch tape, stick it on screen, and pull it right off. Scotch Post-It
notes also work great for this.

A dry microfiber lens cloth works for me. Do NOT use it for lenses
afterwards...personal bias. It may be perfectly OK, but I'd rather not
experiment.

NO! Too much electronics back there!! Why even think of messing
around and taking such risks with the electronics when a cheap Post-It
note will do it instantly and safely?

An ACME Industries Mark IV SandBlaster is the OEM recommendation. And
who are you to question their advice?

Some people I know just wipe it with their t-shirt or anything handy,
but of course we know this is an affront to God. (cf. Leviticus)

I clean mine like I would clean an LCD monitor on a laptop. I use 70%
alcohol to dampen a lens tissue or a polyester "cotton" ball (not a
real cotton one - too abrasive), and gently clean, followed by another
dry lens tissue. Works fine; no scratches or hazing, no problems with
electrical shorts, etc. Of course, I do this with the camera off..... I
also do it as few times as possible, in case there is a little damage
that I can't see but is accumulating - so no more than a few times a
year.

I've used:

1. My breath and a clean cotton t-shirt.
2. Eyeglass cleaner and a clean cotton cloth (works great).
3. The small end of a Nikon Lens Pen (didn't think it would work, but it
did on a cheap point and shoot).

Never had a problem with any of these methods.

And thren put a cover over the screen to protect it from fingerprints, scratches, or
worse. You can get one from www.daproducts.com. (I am not in any way associated with
that site; I have bought from them, and like their product.)

To remove fingerprints from the camera LCD try transparent sticky tape. Good
brand leaves no residue and removes all traces of smudges/dirt.

Maybe, but the Binford 3200 is much better.
