Hi guys,

I'm running a i7-2600 and am getting two different readings from Asus Suite Sensor Monitor and RealTemp 3.70.

RealTemp is jumping between 37c-41c where as Asus Sensor shows the CPU temp steady at 32c. My fan controller is showing a case temp of 30c/85f. Which of the two is the accurate reading?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Solution
They both could be accurate.
Real Temp might be monitoring core temps (which explains why you see some jumping around)
And Asus Sensor could be showing the CPU (package) temp which tends to be a bit more stable.

I think the Asus Sensor might be off. I just downloaded HWMonitor and its showing my Package Temp at 42-43c, with the Core Temps jumping around like you said. Seems to be a bit high for idle, especially since I have a huge sink on it.
