HP elite210y is the motherboard defective have seen alot of posts

I am replacing a HDD on this after using 6 mo using it mostly for Netflix, bought from elderly neighbor who didn't abuse it, he had it 15 mo. I see alot of motherboard comments on this unit. I will sell it if this has proven defective.

Do you mean (a) the PC is unusable so that you suspect the motherboard is defective? Or (b) do you mean the PC is working but you are afraid that the motherboard is of low quality & may have become easily defective & therefore have short usable life?

read where someone replaced the HDD and it blew a 2nd one. blames HP for hiding defective MB's
