What is a wpa security passphrase

Good afternoon

I have just purchased a Hp Photosmart Plus B210 a and am trying to connect it via the wireless option to my laptop using Windows 7. It is telling me I need a WPA security passphrase. I don't know what this or where to find it.

Please help me
