Hi!
My com is stuck on the "Starting Windows" screen. The windows logo does not even load and it's just stuck there.

I can't even boot up the com in Safe Mode. I'm running Windows7 Ultimate.

My specs:
Power Supply: Seasonic S12II 520W
CPU: Intel i7 860 @ 2.8GHz
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 6770
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600 DDR3

Have you done anything to try to figure out the exact problem? I would suspect either RAM or hard drive. Try to use only one stick of RAM and see if it helps.

I couldn't even boot up the com with one stick of RAM. Hahaha!

Possibly a bad motherboard is what I would suspect next but I'll wait until other users comment on it.

Hi

You may be lucky if you can boot from the Windows DVD and run chkdsk on C:
This occasionally clears file corruption and allows Windows to startup again

Yup. I narrowed it down to a bad motherboard too. It's time to get a new one. Thanks guys! :)

First off, what is "the com"?

Second, can you boot into BIOS?
