6970 to have Three VGA only monitor eyefinity setup?

The 6970 I'm getting has 2 DVI ports, and 1 Display port and 1 HDMI port. I would like to know if i could get 2x DVI to VGA adapters, and 1x Display port OR HDMI to VGA adapter, and run an eyefinity setup with three cheap widescreen VGA only monitors.

Yes, I think you can. Take a look at the AMD Eyefinity setup tool.

Yes, you can use 2xDVI/VGA adapters but the third adapter must be an active DP/VGA adapter, NOT passive. For eyefinity, the third monitor must be connected via the display port.

As I said before, make sure the adapter you choose is 'active' NOT 'passive'
